Savings Saturday – Giuseppe Zanotti Sandals

When I lived in Florida I wore sandals year round.  Although Dallas is colder in the winter, I still love a great pair of sandals.  The Giuseppe Zanotti black strap sandals are gorgeous but definitely out of my budget at $695.  The Tassel Strap sandals are not exactly like the expensive pair but I love the gold detail of the tassel and for $13 much more budget friendly.  

Savings Saturday - Eugenia Kim Fedora

A straw fedora is a great spring accessory especially when you are having a bad hair day.  I love the Eugenia Kim fedora but $260?  No way!  I found this knit fedora from Forever 21 for only $12.80!  Perfect!

Savings Saturday – Tom Binns Neon Necklace

Neon is a huge trend this spring and while I am not sure I can wear a full neon look.  I love the idea of neon accessories especially jewelry.  This Tom Binns Neon Necklace in yellow is gorgeous but for $625 I could buy so many more pieces.  The necklace from BaubleBar although not as bright is the perfect shape and color for a fraction of the price.

Savings Saturday – BVLGARI Cat Eye Sunglasses

I will be the first to admit there is a difference between designer sunglasses and budget friendly shades.  I own a pair of Burberry shades that I love but they were a gift.  If I didn’t receive them as a gift I probably would have never bought them.  I do not have a good record with shades.  I end up losing them or breaking them.  Somehow the Burberry shades have lasted 3 years.  I am always on the hunt for affordable sunglasses that won’t break my wallet if I lose them.  I love the BVLGARI Cat Eye Sunglasses but at $650 I would be heart broken if I lost them.  The Cat Eye Sunglasses from Forever 21 are only $5.80 so I could buy 112 pairs of the BVLGARI pair.  

Savings Saturday – Kate Spade New York Florence Leather Satchel

Generally, I do not buy handbags on a budget.  I like quality handbags because I know they will last for several years.  However, I am not sure I want to spend the big bucks on a bright pink satchel.  Although the bag would be a fabulous colorful accessory, I just don’t find spending $448 for the Kate Spade New York Florence Leather Satchel as practical.  I own a green Cambridge Satchel Company satchel so I don’t think I need to spend $205 for another satchel.  So the Target bag (although smaller) is perfect and for a fraction of the cost.

Savings Saturday – Nicholas Kirkwood Floral Printed Platform Pumps

As I have mentioned before floral is a huge trend for spring.  I am still not sure I can wear floral pants, but a pair of floral print shoes would definitely do the trend in a small way.  

I love the lighter print floral Nicholas Kirkwood Floral Platform but they are $698.  So I will settle for the Charlotte Russe pair for only $37!

Savings Saturday – Celine Black Python Luggage Tote

Everywhere I look I have been seeing the Celine Black Python Luggage Tote.  The bag is absolutely gorgeous!  But for $2,000 I can never justify the costs.  So I discovered the Marcela Grey Tote from Mimi Boutique for $60 I felt like I saved a boat load of money and it looks really similar!

Savings Saturday – Notify Bamboo Mint Jeans

As I mentioned in my Trend Tuesday post, pastel is huge for spring.  I am currently loving mint jeans right now.  I am on the hunt for the perfect mint jeans and these Notify Bamboo jeans are fabulous but cost $340.  I wanted to find a few options for less.  While I love the Paige Denim jeans, I am not spending $169 for jeans.  The next pair I found I really love because the color is perfection and only $64!

Savings Saturday – Dorian Oxford Kitten Heel Sandals

Right now I love Ann Taylor’s shoes for spring.  I first saw the Cheri Peeptoe Platform Pumps on Lia from Smart N Snazzy.  When I started looking at the shoe collection, I found the Dorian Oxford Kitten Heel Sandals.  I thought they would be perfect for spring!  The Dorian Oxford Kitten Heels are $178 and although I love them I wanted to find a pair for less.  That is when I found Aldo Bracker Heels for $90 or Shiny Strappy Sandal from Zara for $50.  Although not exactly alike, I love the heels for less.  These shoes are perfect to add a little color to your look.

Savings Saturday – Burberry Brit Belted Trench

I would love a red trench for spring.  The color is bright and would stand out great in the rain.  I would also love a Burberry trench (how perfect is this one?).  But at $995 I really can’t make that leap.  However, the Mango trench from John Lewis has a great shape and color and is only $63!

Savings Saturday – Balenciaga Lace Vintage Skirt

Before finding my black lace skirt, I had my eye on the gorgeous Balenciaga Lace Vintage Skirt.  But for $788 I knew that I couldn’t afford it.  Luckily, I found my black lace skirt from Kohl’s.  But I wanted to find a black lace skirt for my wonderful readers.  That is when I discovered the Worthington Black Lace Skirt from JCPenney for only $17.

Savings Saturday – Tory Burch Structured Bag

Neons are a huge spring trend.  Although, I am not sure I can wear neon from head to toe.  I think a neon or bright colored accent could work however.  I love my orange Cole Haan handbag but I have been drawn to yellow handbags.  I love the structured shape of the Tory Burch handbag but it costs $617.  The handbag for less is not as bright as the Tory Burch handbag but I love the shape and for only $58 is a perfect spring accessory. 

Savings Saturday – HUGO Pink Axeni Blazer

I am on the hunt for a fabulous pink blazer.  I fell in love with this HUGO Bright Pink Axeni Blazer but I knew I could find a pink blazer for under $470.  That’s when I found this H&M blazer for much less.  

Savings Saturday – Alexander McQueen Leopard Skull Silk Scarf

I can’t get enough of scarves right now and since I love leopard print I think I need a leopard print scarf.  I found this Alexander McQueen Leopard Skull Silk Scarf that is absolutely gorgeous but for $443 I can’t do it.  So I found this leopard print scarf from Debenhams from much less.

Savings Saturday – Christian Louboutin Rollerball Spikes Flat Nappa Shoes

Right now I love everything that deals with spiked shoes.  I am not sure I could pull them off without injuring myself, but I think spiked flats might be easier to wear than pumps.  I love these Christian Louboutin Rollerball Flats but I can’t spend $1,095 for flats that might injury me.  So I found these Senso Esta flats for only $50. 

Savings Saturday – Manolo Blahnik Electric Blue Suede Pump

I have been trying to step out of my comfort zone when it comes to shoes.  I have decided I really want a pair of gorgeous blue suede pumps.  I love the Manolo Blahnick Electric Blue Suede Pumps, but can’t afford $665 shoes.  So I found these Kitsch Couture Courtney Heels for much less.  

Savings Saturday – Burberry Prorsum Beige Double Breasted Trench Coat

I’ve always wanted a Burberry trench coat.  When I think of Burberry I think of the gorgeous plaid, but I also think of trench coats.  I love this double breasted trench.  Sadly, it costs $1,790.  Ouch!  Once day I will own a Burberry Trench coat, but for now this Mango trench coat at $70 will definitely do.  

Savings Saturday – Miu Miu Gold Glitter Peep Toe Pumps

As I mentioned in my Thursdays Favorite Things post this week, I love glitter pumps.  They are perfect for all occasions and add that extra pop of fun to an outfit.  The Miu Miu Gold Glitter Peep Toe Pumps are absolutely gorgeous but cost $476!  So I wanted to find a pair of glitter peep toe pumps for less.  I found these gold glitter platform shoes from Debenhams.com for only $47!

I am in love with zebra print right now.  I have zebra print Sam Edelman flats (thanks eBay!) but I have been hunting for zebra print pumps.  That is when I discovered these gorgeous Gucci Zebra Print Calf-Hair Pumps.  But these pumps are $695!  So I wanted to find zebra print pumps for less and I found three great pairs.
