Last Friday, I decided to try the Clinique Pore Minimizer Thermal-Active Skin Refiner. I really like Clinque products and thought the Pore Minimizer would be perfect. Boy was I wrong.
The product is really thick. It took both my hands to squeeze out the lotion. Once I got the product out, I placed it on my face with water as directed. I started to feel a warm reaction so I thought it was probably working really well. Unfortunately the warmth only lasted a few seconds. A few minutes after using it, my face was red and swollen. Apparently, my face did not like the product. The redness went away after about an hour, but I still noticed my pores and did not see any minimization.
The next day my face broke out and has been extremely dry for the remainder of the week. I was not happy with the Clinque Pore Minimizer. I thought the product did not work as it should and definitely was not good on my skin. My product came in a Clinque free sample, but normally costs $40.00. I definitely would not recommend the product especially if you have to pay $40.00. To avoid the same thing from happening to you, it is best if you only use skin care products that are recommended by a dermatology clinical assistant.

Thanks for the review! I always wonder about products like this. It makes me think maybe because its Clinique & it costs a lot, that it would ACTUALLY work. But usually it doesn't. Im always looking for pore minimizing products, I guess this isn't it!
OUCH! I've been there. I have super sensitive skin!
Amber - I was completely disappointed. I generally love Clinique products, but that was definitely not a good one. I'd avoid it at all costs!
Kristin - I generally don't have a problem with Clinique goods, so sad.
