One of my readers asked if I was going to give some gift ideas for Father’s Day. I hadn’t really thought about doing a post, but decided to find a few gift ideas for those that are having problems selecting something for their fathers. Father’s Day is on Sunday, June 19, 2011 so now is crunch time for Father’s Day presents.
My father is the type of guy who could care less is he received a gift as long as he receives a card and a phone call, but I always try to pick something up for him. So here are a few of my suggestions for Father’s Day gifts.

A Watch
A watch is a perfect gift for Father’s Day. You can select a watch based upon your father’s style. If your father is a businessman select a watch like this one.

If your dad is more of an outdoorsmen then you may want to select a watch that is a little more durable and versatile.
A Wallet
Your dad is probably always in the market for a wallet. A wallet comes in all shapes and sizes but here are a few of my favorite ones.
A Hobby Gift
I am sure your dad has a hobby that he loves. My dad and father-in-law love to fish. So if I am struggling with a gift idea I choose something that relates to fishing and it always is a hit.
Photos
When it doubt send your dad a photograph. My dad loves getting photos of my brother and I. So I try to send a photo with his gift.
I hope these Father’s Day Gift tips help and remember Father’s Day is this Sunday June 19th.
What are you getting your father this year?

love a watch; always so classic, just a personal pick sometimes. Photos are ALWAYS a good chance. Men are especially slow at updating their collection. Great ideas!
