As I mentioned here, I attended the Central Florida Bloggers Conference on Saturday. The conference provided tips for beginning and seasoned bloggers. I learned so much at the conference. It was a great opportunity to improve my blog and meet other Florida bloggers. There was so much I learned, here are my 5 tips from the bloggers conference.
1. Read Aloud Everything You Write Before You Post
What you write may look great when reading it to yourself, but aloud it may sound different.
2. Purchase A Domain Name For Your Blog
I’ll be the first to say I didn’t have this. I was using the blogspot.com but I learned that if you want to look more professional use a .com instead of blogspot.com. Also, if you want to review products most places want you to have a .com.
3. Happy Readers = Loyal Readers
Make sure your page looks easy for readers. If it complicated your readers will not want to return to become loyal readers.
4. Have A Defined Niche
This may be difficult when you are starting out, but come up with an exact mission statement for your blog. Try to summarize your mission in three words. I am still working on this one.
5. Interact with Your Readers
If they leave comments or email you make sure you respond. By interacting with your readers you will have happy readers and like I said before happy readers make loyal readers.
In addition to learning these great suggestions, I also had the opportunity to meet two fabulous fashion bloggers. I met J from J’s Everyday Fashion. If you haven’t checked out her blog you really should. J is fabulous. She provides women with practical and free fashion advice. She is the self-proclaimed Rachel Ray of fashion and even has a makeover show in the works. It was wonderful to meet J.
I also met J9 from J9 Style. J9 Style is about empowering and enriching women to make sure they are fabulous in all aspects of their lives.
It was really great to meet up with these fashionable ladies.
So what did I wear to the conference? Well I had planned on wearing a skirt and great cardigan, but that just didn’t work out. I was exhausted from seeing Harry Potter and didn’t want to deal with everything that comes with wearing a skirt, so I opted for pants.

Since I learned to improve my blog, I am hoping to get more feedback from my readers for changes. Please let me know if there is something you would like me to include in my blog posts, posts you like and would like to see more of, or posts that you don't like. I really want to make the blog for my readers and would love to know your thoughts.
